Hotel Manoir Atkinson

From the moment we arrived Pascal and Gloria spoiled us. Their pride in their lovely antique hotel from the lush plant collection to the natty home crafted furniture is charming. We really enjoyed the delicious unique and home made breakfasts and adored the murals on the hotel and view of the sea from our room.

Fantastic relaxing stay in this boutique hotel. Lovely breakfast and excellent offering of Chilean cuisine in the restaurant. Probably the highlight was our excellent hosts Marcelo and Gloria who accommodated all our needs and beyond.

We were lucky enough to get the balcony suite on the top floor, which was a lovely room with a perfect view and quick access to the rooftop; However, by far and away the thing that made our day, the most exceptional were the two people that run the bed-and-breakfast, Gloria and Marcel. Their personal attention made us feel like we were the only guest and everything they did always had a special extra touch. We can’t thank them enough for a wonderful time as short as it was in their town of Valparaiso.

Location location plus the couple that runs it was outstanding. Best breakfast we had so far in Chile.

Not much to dislike

Wonderful experience! Gloria and Marcelo were kind, helpful, and available. Food was delightful! In addition to the included breakfast, they are open as a cafe some days - during which we enjoyed the best ceviche of our trip to Chilé! We stayed in the suite with the ocean view and enjoyed the fresh air from the multiple windows and doors. Our favorite stay during our two week trip in Chilé by far!

Everything was perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Manoir Atkinson. Marcello and Gloria the owners were fabulous. They make you a great homemade breakfast each morning and gave us great advice throughout our stay. The location is perfect as well. There is also a rooftop deck you can enjoy a 360 degree view of the city from.

Everything was just right

Fantastic little gem of a hotel, which definitely feels more like a bed & breakfast, because you feel right at home there. It's a former private house turned into a hotel, and feels very cozy and homey. Location is perfect to explore the coolest neighborhoods in Valparaiso (Cerro Alegre and Cerro Concepcion, it's right between the two) and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. But what really made a difference for me was Marcelo, the owner, who was super friendly and gave us great tips. That, plus the delicious made-to-order breakfast, which made a big difference vs. a traditional hotel! Would 100% recommend this beautiful place for anyone wanting to explore the city. Thanks Marcelo!
