Castello di Petrata

Wir verbrachten drei sehr erholsame Tage in einer wundervollen Umgebung in diesem sehr gepflegten Hotel.

Esperienza positiva con famiglia ed amici. Camera molto spaziosa. Cena eccellente. Colazione abbondante. Personale gentilissimo. Posizione da pieno relax, vista magnifica.

Versteckt in der Hügellandschaft nahe Assisi liegt dieses bezaubernde Hotel, umgeben von einem großen Garten. Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer in historischem Gemäuer. Beim Frühstück im Garten oder beim Blick aus dem Zimmerfenster schaut man auf Assisi. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sollte ich wieder nach Umbrien kommen: Castello di Petrata!

We had a great stay. The hotel is very cozy and very well taken care of in a great property at the top of a hill with a great view of Assisi. Dinner was excellent. The staff were very attentive and helped us arrange a horse trail riding activity the following day that was also fun. The hotel is about 15 to 20 minutes by car from the parking lot of the Basilica St Francis. We had no problem getting to the hotel using Google Maps.

What a lovely hotel. High on the hills overlooking the valley. Wonderful staff and idealic hotel. Nice rooms with small bathroom. We are at the restaurant a couple of times and the food was excellent. Beautiful grounds. Wander the paths and watch the sunset over the valley.

Fantastiskt! Underbar och hemtrevlig miljö. Ägarfamiljen och personalen var så vänliga, serviceintriktade och tillmötesgående. Ligger uppe i bergen med fantastisk trädgård,omgivning och utsikt. Nära till Assi som är väl värt att se.

The staff of Castello di Petrata were incredible! We were made to feel like family members coming home after a long time away from the family. They were helpful with local things to do and places to eat, happily helped us figure out when certain things were open when I called from village (Assisi) below, and even prepared a private dinner for myself and my wife. I inquired about dinner, they set up the rest. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect, romantic dinner for our honeymoon. The location is also wonderful. It's in a serene location in the hills above Assisi. Very quiet and has a incredible view of the town and the valley below it. It's a welcome respite if you need a break after spending time in the bustle of one of the larger cities.

to whom is looking for a quite place with a stunning view and facilty this is the place in Umbria. staff makes you feel at home but with freinds. the place is rare to find and affordable.
