Charming 14th Century castle converted extremely tastefully to a characterful hotel in superb grounds on hilltop remote location. Sadly no aircon in rooms and a torturous twisting and hilly drive to anywhere otherwise it would have been a perfect score for the location. The restaurant was not to our liking, serving very small portions at quite high prices but then, this is a small family run hotel with undoubtedly very high overheads that need to be re-couped. We solved the problem by eating out most nights.

Excellent hôtel dans une superbe location. Personnel vraiment sympa et disponible. Très isolé, il faut se déplacer en voiture pour tout. Le wi-fi c’est payant et très cher, c’est dommage vu le niveau de l’hôtel.

great family hotel nice surrounds will definately stay there again

This charming country inn is a little hard to find but well worth the effort. There is a full spa on the grounds and the view is spectacular. The staff is friendly and go out of their way to help. The food at the on site restaurant is superb. This inn is a former fortress remodeled and is a truly delightfull place to stay. It is about a 15 minute drive from Assisi which you can see from the hotel across the valley.
