Empire Hotel Subang

The hotel was only one staff at front desk and when we arrived there was no any greeting, also we looked for the staff to check in for around 5 minutes, it was so terrible, how can a hotel lobby does not have air conditioning, no light, no staff, and government already allowed dine in but the hotel still not open for that, so we can only have our breakfast in our room. Before we arrive the hotel I sent email to ask them something and there was no any response. Also I required two plates and two forks to place in my room, there was no anything. And the housekeeper also forgot to put toothbrush and toothpaste in our room, we had to make a phone call to get it. The breakfast we requested to arrive at 8:00am but it arrived at 8:30, I called service center two times to ask, she just told me its on the way up, but it was not.

The environment was quiet but it was good . Easy access to shop mall for packing food. Room spacious and comfortable.

The room was not tidied up and surprised to see some used face masks. But luckily they changed for us to suite room free of charge.

Go others. Unless you like the shopping. Rooms rundown & not well kept. Lack of toiletries. Suspected retrenched many staff and cannot cope with the operation. Very inconvenient if you use the parking. Not recomended for few nights stay.

Great location and it’s located in the mall which is very convenient. There are many restaurants and grocery stores inside. Hotel room is ok just service is moderate but I think it’s due to MCO. But thanks for the free upgraded. 👍 👍 👍

Very noisy hotel. Next to highway . Soundproofing is zero.

I request room to be away from Train tracks and specifically remind again during check-in. But the staff did not comply to my request. I am very sure Hotel occupy rate was well below from Full. Simple face towel and toiletries stuff like toothbrush and toothpaste were also not supply. Properly time to reconsider other hotels. Feel price paid don't get the value that I expected.

Location was good. Breakfast was good. Rooms were old but clean. The room had that old smell when you open the door after a full day.

This is not the first time I stayed this hotel, basically the hotel is so close to my working office. Therefore I always stay here. Last time, I suggested to the front desk to install a table lamp in the room on the working desk, it is too dark, I can't even do my work properly. In addition, they can install a soft closing to the door, the loud slamming sound woke me up a few times on the door. Lastly, the breakfast has improved, however maybe can more consideration for Vegetarian like me.
