Staffs in reception were not at all explaining the details about amenities and WiFi setups clearly. There was foul smell in the room coming from outside and the bathroom washbasin drain was blocked when we checked in. Also the cleanliness was not up to the mark as the bathroom floors were wet and mirrors were not clean. We felt the room was not value for money as we noticed the rooms were way too old than the ones shared in the pictures and because of all the above reasons.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The property feels more than 30 years old, and unfortunately, it shows everywhere. The beds, bathroom fittings, flooring, bedsheets, and curtains are all extremely outdated and have a noticeable stale, unpleasant smell. The corridors are very narrow, adding to the overall uncomfortable feel of the place. What’s even more frustrating is the pricing. The hotel charges nearly four times more than a normal hotel in Kodaikanal, yet the facilities and overall experience are no better—if not worse—than a basic hotel.
