Hôtel Des Mille Collines

Amazing stay at the Mills Collines. Staff was very nice and the food is incredible. Will definitely stay again if I get the chance to visit Kigali again.

It is a little tired, compared to the newer hotels. Also basic needs, e.g. number of wall sockets in the rooms, are not sufficient for the modern guest with all the technology. Hot water in the shower was only tepid.

I like the location of the hotel. The bed was comfortable. I did not like the fact that in my room, 207, the tub and sink did not drain properly. I would also like more face cloths and towels to be provided.

I stayed here for 4 nights. Honestly the rooms are a bit old but very neat. The restaurant and gardens however are extremely awesome. The staff are extremely professional and perfect at what they do. The food is extremely amazing! All in all, I would give Mille Colline 8 out of 10!!

I was very pleased with my stay at Mille Collines. It is a beautiful hotel and the staff are excellent - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. The rooms are clean, the food is excellent. I would stay there again.

Comfortable stay in this great location. Pool bar - delightful. Nice view from our balcony but no chairs to sit on.........

I thought the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of choices, including Rwandan food, which I appreciated. The view from our Panoramic room were beautiful. I would have used a hot tub, near the pool area, if it was available. The taxis called forward by hotel staff were much more expensive than those just outside of the gate waiting. Also, considering the international fame of this hotel, in no small part due to the movie Hotel Rwanda, some recognition (e.g. a wall of pics, some accolades for those who bravely saved lives) of the role of this space during the genocide is warranted.

Nice hotel. Great views of Kigali from rooftop. Suite was very comfortable with a Nespresso machine, so great coffee. Staff were very helpful and approachable. Breakfast was great with a selection of healthy options.
