1st time I stayed the room was spacious and had a 4 post bed, rebooked for same price to be in a very small room on the top floor far from lift when partner was disabled. Bathroom was disappointing as the taps and shower were grubby and covered in limescale. Could also hear everything that was happening n the room next to us like we were all together in the same room

Grit on the first approach welcome in

After I checked in how rude people were and in the main a bar and restaurant the hint of staff was so unplate and acceptable behavior from from staff I was just dressed appropriately but they did not know how much money I got and I felt so unwelcome just because they thought I was a youngster and underdressed does not matter how much what you look like what money you've got you should always treat people the same

We stay at the Castle because of its Location and our Grandchildren live in Neath

The room we were staying in was extremely cold especially the bathroom.

The room and the bed was really comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Location was great and the continental breakfast was fantastic.

The chair to sit on in the room was broken it needs fixing as the cushion dipped and we needed another small lamp by the bed as we only had one on my side. Some coloured lights that could stay on instead of the bright lights.

Friendly staff great location did miss a cooked choice for breakfast even scrambled or poached eggs on toast but didn't spoil our stay
