Cove Studios

Well located with an easy walk in to the township of Byron Bay.

Property is not value for money. We paid nearly $1000 for 3 nights accommodation in what is basically a very average motel room. Bathroom was mouldy, skylight above bed had mould all over the walls in to cavity. Double sliding doors for entry but only one was working so we had to squeeze through. Screens are only fly screen not security and don’t have a lock on them so you are unable to leave glass open for some fresh air and the door is the only window in the place other than bathroom. Description said “selection of Byron bay teas” we were provided with a stingy 6 twinnings English breakfast teabags. Also said “fine linens” the linen was stock standard “hotel” linen, no cover on the quilt or the extra quilts provided (which were dirty and marked), along with one of the pillow slips which had a horrible looking green mould mark on it. Bathroom floor was filthy as was the bedroom floor. Very disappointing accommodation. A lot of noise transfer from one room to next. Info also reads not suitable for children under 15 yet we were subjected to 5.30am wakeups with children running on floor boards of adjacent room, crying and yelling. Won’t be recommending to friends or family.

Quiet location a few minutes stroll to Belongil Beach, and 15 minutes walk into Byron. Virtual check (no face to face, but staff respond promptly to SMS messages) Parking space ample for our large Mazda Ute. Perfect for our overnight stay. Studio was spacious, and spotlessly clean. Air conditioned, comfy beds, modern en suite, bar fridge, kettle, coffee maker, pods and milk frother and toaster available. Tranquil outdoor setting, small pool on site and ample sun loungers and seating on the decks outside each studio. Other guests were quiet and respectful.

Nothing at all! Perfect for our stay. This was a studio apartment, and the amenities were as expected and accurately described on the website.

The property was clean and comfortable.

The room was a little noisy and could hear the people behind us use the bathroom. A couple of comfy chairs would have been nice .

Lovely space, a large room and large ensuite with the bonus of a lovely pool and a sauna. The beach is just a short walk away and we walked into town for dinner.

Review for The Cove Byron Bay Unfortunately, my stay at The Cove was quite disappointing. The walls are extremely thin — I could hear everything from the neighbouring rooms, which made it hard to relax. I arrived at 10am and was told by the cleaners that my room was already ready. However, despite the host saying they would keep me updated, I wasn’t allowed to enter until 3:15pm, after sending several messages. I was even willing to pay extra for early access, but there was no flexibility. To add to the frustration, the door didn’t close properly, which left me unsure whether it was securely locked. Overall, not the experience I was hoping for

Nice features, chairs outside comfy and relaxing, nice size fridge. Not too far away from beach
