Madang Resort

The standard room was pretty dated, but the property is beautiful. It’s right on the water, with pools and lagoons. It looked like the premium rooms were extremely nice. The food was nothing special, but the staff are incredibly nice and helpful.

Service was slow. The mini bar was non existent even after it was advertised to have one. I requested wifi and was unable to get it for some unknown reason. It was basic, but could of been better.

We enjoyed our stay and were welcomed and spoilt by all the staff we met. The food and service was excellent and the courtesy bus made arrival and departure very easy. All in all we would recommend the Resort and its people to travellers.

Beautiful property, rooms are quite large, not luxurious but comfortable. I stayed at one of the cabanas by the water (the balcony is literally over water). Overall was a good experience, the restaurant service was slow - but that is typical of PNG - and there was no hot water in the room. The internet is super slow and EXTREMELY expensive. Having to pay to use the gym where none of the machines really work and there is no A/C is outrageous! Much better than the Madang Lodge.

Nice resort with great views and pool. Only one restaurant open but food very good. Rooms a little run down. Bathrooms need renovation.
