Very disappointed that no meals are provided in the evening or breakfast as they used to be under previous management. I have returned to this Hotel 3 or 4 times a year because of work, and when you have been travelling all day the last thing you want to be told is to go out and get something to eat when only take-aways are available in this area. I then had to leave early in the mornings to find breakfast elsewhere too.

For what I paid for the room, it was absolutely fine - clean, and a basic breakfast provided. Water was hot and shower worked well.

Pretty rundown in areas and smelt of cigarettes in the corridors but not in the actual rooms.

It was good just for an overnight stay after meeting with friends Room was standard bed & shower also had a bar which I didn't try car park was round to the side plenty of spaces

Rooms could do with updating maybe have a flatscreen on wall also sort the locks out on the doors woken up by somebody who couldn't get in there room

It was available in need on a good price. It had everything I needed, was clean & tidy. I met 2 members of staff who were very friendly, professional and helpful. Shame I couldn’t stay for breakfast, which was also included.

The staff

Room was dirty, mould on the bathroom ceiling, curtain rail was rusty. Room smelled of smoke. Bed mattress was too soft. The room was far too warm. The floor boards creek a lot. Car park was very dark, broken cctv camera. This is a very dated hotel.

We only stayed for the one night but I can honestly say the hotel was lovely and also the staff .
