Grange Moor Hotel

The room was fine. It was a reasonable size and had a well apportioned bathroom. All staff very nice and made check in/out easy. The location was ideal for my stay in Maidstone. On site parking was very useful. I thought it represented good value for money.

The lighting was a bit dim in the room. The door locks on room and outside fire door weren't great, (couldn't double lock my room door) Wi-fi didn't work in my room (I was at the furthest end of the building). Tea bags were unsealed and seemed old. Glasses weren't clean.

Location

Locked out of my room for over an hour , then finally got in the room after 01.-00 am Given another room but had to leave that room also as there was a leak coming threw the window due to pipe issue which kept me awake Finally given another room at 03.30 am And the TV never worked in the 3rd room Awful nights stay

The receptionist was also the bartender, breakfast bar operator and very helpful and we felt sorry for him because he had to move us from the allocated rooms as they were so disgusting

Dirty inside and outside. Shower fitting hanging off the wall and had to be hand held. Cigarette butts everywhere outside, our room smelled of smoke, everything very dated, carpet in the room was stained and dirty. This was the second room as we refused to stay in the first ones we were allocated. If it wasn’t so late at night we would have left. Our friend had traveled from Bulgaria for our wedding and was also disgusted at this place. Breakfast consisted of toast or cereal and tea or coffee which was lukewarm and not hot. AVOID at all costs
