Bowen Terrace Accommodation

I found the accommodation well kept, with good facilities. My bed was really comfy and I think the mattress was new. Nice and close to cafes and restaurants, and the cinema, and easy 15min walk to the station. Affordable price, would stay there again.

Booked in for 3 nights at a good price through wotif. As soon as it goes to the page to pay. the price gets bumped up another $100 or so. Get the place, no air conditioners. Stinking hot. My son had to sleep on the floor it was sweltering. Light bulb in the bathroom not fixed before we got there. Then try to leave the day before because its just so uncomfortable but don't even get our money back. Not happy at all.

I called when my husband booked. We told the lively lady I was on a course and would be coming in late and leaving early for 3 nights. When I arive it said I was in room 14. So I went down a long hallway that creaked so loud.. down stairs there was a clean lounge room and kitchen.. I kept going to room 14. I opend the door to find my bunk. It was incomplete darkness and I had no power on my ph to see where I was going the guy in the bunk near the door yelled at me. The bunks on the left were snoring so loud.the Room stunk like vomit. The guy yelling at me said my bunk was over there. So with my bags I trip in the dark on their bags and things. Get to my bunk there was a guy asleep in it. I still had the guy yelling at me.. so I got out of there.. it was 2 am by the time I drove 3 hrs home. I almost crashed on the highway for falling asleep. I was late to every class the next day that cost me $1700 to attend. Then that big drive home because no way I was going back to that hole.

Not luxury but great value and walking distance from city

Room was clean but furnishing old and bed terrible uncomfortable. No ensuite was not stated in advertising and had room next to shared bathroom. It was to noisy

Awesome location in New Farm, room was ready to go and organized key pickup even with our extremely late last minute booking. Great room, pool, shared kitchen facilities etc. Awesome value for Brisbane.

Stayed there twice so far and if/when I return to Brisbane, I would stay there again, love it!

Perfect for 1 night stay. I stayed in the single bedroom, small but comfortable & very clean as were the shared bathrooms. My next visit I would opt for the double bed room just due to the location of the the room I stayed in being near the stairs going down to the common room & the noise that comes up from the TV down there into the bedroom window. But hey it was 1 night, affordable,clean and a great location to where I needed to be. I felt very safe walking the street for dinner as single female.Highly recommend & if I need to be in Brisbane for another conference this is where I will stay.

Well worth your money.
