Bowen Terrace Accommodation

Bowen Terrace accommodation is very homely and clean. My trip was to see my brother who lives by. Apparently according to the owner they have many Guests who have family living in the area but don’t have enough space for guests . I would recommend this pace for short and also wonderful for longer stays. Very central to Brisbane CBD but in a quiet little pocket. Great restaurants and cafes nearby as well as supermarket and Saturday food markets.

Lovely old Queenslander. Comfortable clean room. Easy check in process for after hours check in. A little bit of noise from the street until later in the evening made an early night challenging.

Very nice location close to the city but very noisy. Bathroom should be cleaner!

Stayed here for 2 nights in the mixed dorm. Ann was very helpful at providing advice on what to do in the city. Nice area with restaurants and cafes. A quite hostel for getting some rest! Easy to get in to the city by bus, boat or a 30min walk. Would recommend!

Stayed in 4 mixed dorm for two nights over weekend. Motel is good, but people always leave dirty dishes in the sink. Also the big public fridge there is very noisy. The noise of aircon in the room was loud and quite disturbing.

stayed for a night. super quick check in and out. friendly staff. 4 bed mixed dorm was nice. free wifi, a nice walk/bus trip to the nightlife in the valley. safe neighbourhood. i'd stay there again

Right after booking I received a personal confirmation from Anne, which is quite informative and handy! We met her the next day, got some tips on how to get around and where to visit. The hostel was nice, clean, quiet during our four days there, we were very happy with our dorm room and the common area. Would stay there again next time we return!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Bowen Terrace for 2 weeks and we really enjoyed our time there! We were in a double room upstairs for one week and then an ensuite downstairs for the other, both rooms were great very clean and cosy and they both had a tv, mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities and fan. The wifi in the hotel is good but didn't reach our room downstairs too well but if you really need it you can just walk into the living room area. The kitchen was clean and had lots of storage and cutlery. There is also an outside terrace upstairs and down and there is an outdoor pool which was great after hot weather. The hotel is in a good location, not far from the main area of New Farm. It is also a 10 minute walk to the CBD and 15 to the Sydney Street City Hopper. Definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Brisbane and looking for a friendly and relaxed place to stay!

This is a good basic place to stay, especially if you are passing through. It's in a neighborhood so there weren't restaurants close by. Since I was on my way to the airport in the morning I was unable to work out breakfast. Rooms were clean and small, worked well for an overnight. Shared bathrooms so shower planning was important. The common area was well used-there is a kitchen if you want to cook. The house itself is old, it was quiet the night I stayed but walls are a bit thin.

We stayed 2 nights as a group of 6. We felt at home right by entering the house. The welcome was wonderful, the managing lady the most lovely person you could ever meet. Everything was perfectly clean and well equipped. The location is fantastic and we would have loved to stay longer and enjoy the homeliness of that place a little longer. Can only recommend Bowen Terrace!
