Convenient hotel off the highway - restaurant facility for breakfast - was a good spot to stop for a night when traveling

Their was a problem at check-in, it seemed that the reservation had been lost however Hotels.com quickly sorted the problem after we contacted them via Twitter. The hotel was fantastic. Really close the autobahn but without any traffic noise at all in the hotel. Our room had a balcony and windows overlooking a beautiful forest, no ugly views of the aitobahn from this hotel. Beside the hotel is a very clean and well equipped service station and the breakfast (extra charge) was good and generous. We travelled as a family and had our dog with us. The hotel fitted our needs perfectly on our cross-europe drive.

Check in was difficult, we arrived late and the self check-in was out of order!

I was just doing some business nearby, so I did not explore. What I saw was pretty, safe, and clean. The staff was friendly and the room was a great value with a comfortable bed, not too hard. The TV had an HDMI input and the WiFI was sufficient for watching videos and making VOIP calls.

Booked online just before arriving and had reservation but on arrival told they were full. Receptionist had a piece of paper with hand written names which she counted to confirm hotel full. She was obviously unable to update the electronic system which makes it a waste of time being on Expedia. When we called Expedia to complain not only was it showing the twin room we booked but three singles available. YOU EXPEDIA NEED TO REMOVE THESE IDIOTS FROM YOUR SYSTEM.

We stayed at this Hotel several times many years ago when it was part of the 'Best Western' hotel chain. Our recent stay was very pleasant, they have added air conditioning to the rooms since our last stay. Good comfortable beds, an excellent stopover if you have a long way to travel as we did. My only complaint is that we had booked a triple room for two adults and one 13 year old however they only provided us with three hand towels and only one bath towel.

Stopped here on drive down from the UK to Austria- it was great-so convenient with direct access to forests trails. Rooms were quiet, very clean and simple- just what we needed. Located at the services so refreshments on the doorstep- and staff friendly and helpful. We'll be staying again.

Serways Hotel Heiligenroth is at service station near highway, so if you need a hotel room near highway to move to your destination on time, it is the right place. You can eat the breakfast at the service station with two options; simple one at about 5 Euro and full one at about 10 Euro. The reception at the service station was very kind. Once again the hotel is small but it is convenient to move by car.
