The road to the hotel needs filling very bumpy fir car

The Staff were friendly, the room was clean & Spacious. The location, Grounds and Surrounding marshlands nr the broads was beautiful. Locafion to Oulton broads harbour and high street is only a 10 min walk, and some beautiful walks. We will be revisiting and staying here again. The Broadview Wine bar offers some nice lunches and drinks looking out at the harbour, as did the Wheery Hotel where you can eat and drink. All round a lovely Stay

The bar and bar room was quite plain and low in atmosphere and was lacking in something, there were no bar snacks. All this said the Hotel is just in the hands of new owners only acquired the ownership on Day1 of our visit and I am sure they will make some adjustments and future upgrades here and there .

Beautiful grounds. Large courtyard room, dog friendly and comfortable. Would be a perfect wedding venue.

Shame not fully functioning in terms of food etc.

Room’s really need updating/ modernising , look tired and worn . Tv was old and very slow changing channels and tv small …. Should be smart tv nowadays. Extra large bed was just 2 pushed together and very uncomfortable with a join in mattress!
