Liberty Lodge Guest House

Do not stay here. A constant alarm noise meant it was unfit to sleep there. We were informed the alarm goes day and night. We requested to speak to a manager to discuss a change of room or refund but they were not contactable. We ended up having to move to a hotel. The manager never responded to our emails and has refused any sort of refund.

Super accomodating staff.

Wi fi doesn't work during loadshedding neither does the tv so if you're tired after travelling you have no way of entertaining yourself. Kipling room has a bath with built in shower which is difficult for older guests to negotiate. The Inverter which is too small for such an establishment only just keeps the lights on, but also makes a peeping sound so from your bedroom you hear the noise and it's difficult to relax or sleep.

Very friendly, very comfortable, good breakfast, nice staff. Nice old building. Breakfast was served in courtyard and was great

Was a bit noisy with the wooden floors and could hear every little noise. TV in the room was very small

Breakfast was delicious and on time! The rooms are well kept and clean! The ladies that work at the lodge are incredibly helpful, polite and welcoming!

The TV is tiny and old. Understandably one wouldn’t spend all day indoors but if it is raining then you are forced to leave the room.
