The welcome is always great , the room wicked especially with my up grade and bar and breakfast lovely

Hotel was difficult to find and had no character. Staff were impersonal

Reviewed not as a resident but as passing custom. I had left my car at a nearby dealership for its annual service. Breakfast although twice the price of a Premier Inn, had an ambience of quality. The all you could eat buffet with unlimited coffee refills and toast ticked the boxes. Except at £25 a sitting, the black pudding didn't need to be quartered, however the meat was top quality and the eggs still runny. On a plus side their staff were very good and struck a balance between being there and not intrusive.

Gluten free food at breakfast was appropriately dealt with as someone came to speak about it.Items were well labelled.

Parasols outside the bar would be welcome in the hot weather.

Staff were good and helpful.

I was really disappointed as the room AC system malfunctioned and didn't work. The house keeping provide us with a portable one but it was noisy and couldn't go to sleep because of the noise.
