"Cleveland Way"

Good location. Adequate space for clothes in the room. The building has bags of character.

Nothing really. The room was quite dated, but it fitted in well with the overall charm of the place. Oh, nearly forgot about my girlfriend banging her head on the telly!

Great location in the centre of Helmsley. Everything was good. The breakfast situation was a little confusing at first, as there were a couple of rooms in use.There was plenty to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful. The garden area is really attractive.

Initially the parking situation was confusing. The space outside the front of the hotel is part of the main Council run car park, so only a limited time allowed to park and get bags etc to room. The car park belonging to the hotel is near the top of a lane at the side of the hotel, and spaces are limited. Some guests parked at the side of the hotel leading up to the car park

Location was great . The food was good and staff were all friendly.

Its dog friendly which meant dogs in the resturant area which was busy so every so often a dog would bark and set the others off.

Location. Bars and restaurants. Food quality. Comfortable clean room. Mike the Restaurant manager - worked like a Trojan.

Lack of focus at times : receptionist takes a break at 3pm, the time when people check in. Booking a dinner reservation to find out it wasn’t booked..
