From ther time we made the booking until th etime when we had unfortuantely to leave Teo was helpful with local knowledge and information, he even managed to decipher the Jardiolinja ferry time table for us. A simple phone call and we wwere collected from the bottom of the hill and whisked up to teh apartment by Teo and Mary. A bottle of beer each as a greeting, teo bottles of wine and Marys cakes! What more can you ask for Grandmas Grappa is also indeed good medecine, a plentiful supply also being left in the Fridge. The apartment was huge and well equiped I would definitely recomend staying at this apartment

Wonderful stay

I can't fault our stay at Teo's apartment. From the email received straight after the booking was made to being dropped back in the town when we left, the whole stay was great. Like most of the reviews you will read, Teo is a legend. We loved it here so much we ended up staying 6 nights instead of 3. He greeted us with a cold beer, a map of the city and lots of knowledge. The hospitality didn't stop there - a bottle of home made cherry grappa and some local wine were also left waiting for us. If you're looking for luxury accommodation, then this isn't the place for you. But if you want somewhere clean, comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood, then it's perfect. Its about a 5-10 minute walk from both the harbour, the beach and bars and restaurants - all down hill! So yes, that does mean that it's uphill on the way back but Hvar is a hilly place so you're very lucky if you escape them. I would go back and stay with Teo any time so would highly recommend.

Picked up by Teo at the port and he ran up through all about the island. Lovely guy always up for helping. Room was lovely - clean and comfortable with good kitchen and bathroom, good location, a few minutes walk from town center.

First, its conveniently located close to everything but still in quite and peaceful area. Teo was wonderful host, with great English and many great recommendations to offer. The room was very clean, simple, and had everything we needed. We were incredibly happy with our brief stay and sad to say goodbye.

Teo was very friendly and organized on our arrival and his family history on the island makes him an excellent source of local information. It was great to have a kettle and cups and saucers in our room and an iron and ironing board outside in the hallway. Our veranda had a lovely view.

We had a week in this hotel as part of a longer trip around Croatia and it was our favourite accommodation for a number of reasons. We were greeted with a beer from Teo, the extremely friendly and hospitable owner as well as a map and a lot of info; where to go, what to do, where to eat, day trips and lots of interesting information about the island! The room was clean and had a small well equipped kitchenette area. The hotel was a 5 minute walk to most places-restaurants, bars, beach, supermarket, boats for trips to other islands...everything you would expect! Well recommended and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

The owner was very helpful. He met the ferry. Good spot with a lovely private courtyard. Only about 10 minutes walk to old town or to the beach but you must like steps though! Would recommend!
