The hotel stole my money and refused me entry unless I paid more. On their automatic booking system I had selected the 8pm - 9pm arrival slot. The emails suggested it was fully automated entry. On arrival it wasn't fully automated. I arrived at 9.45pm and was told I would have to pay an extra £50 if I wanted to stay for the night (having pre-paid already). I refused to pay the extra money and I was refused entry to the property. I was also refused a refund. This is extortion. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. The hotel justification was that I was 45 mins late checking in! Firstly, the check in process suggested it was all fully automated, and secondly, 9.45pm is not late in the evening by any standard.

James greeted us at the door & showed us to our room. He was very kind and polite. Helped us with taxi services and also the “grab and go” breakfast option was perfect, so tasty and a personalised touch with a labelled bag which I found charming.

Nothing we will definitely be back.

My room was very nice, clean and comfortable bed. James was an excellent host and gave me a great recommendation for a nearby restaurant. The location was perfect for NEC, and I managed to do an early morning walk on public footpaths around nearby Southfields Farm & Conservation Project before heading off to work. Breakfast was great!

The hosts James and Hansel where very friendly and helpful, location was in a lovely spot, room was quiet and very clean and comfortable breakfast was pre ordered and ready for when we arrived for breakfast good food
