Liked the greyhound inn as a pub , rooms very basic but ok for one night set in lovely village
Brilliant place in a beautiful setting. Landlord is lovely and staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was spotless, very comfy beds ( just needed double pillows ). Lovely and quiet and not overlooked with a gorgeous view from the window. Breakfast was very good, toast was amazing.

One night,b & b. Comfortable night's sleep, friendly, welcoming, they catered admirably for our vegetarian cooked breakfast.The bathroom could do with a 3ft/90cm length towel rail - Bluebell room.
The place was beautiful and the ladies who serviced us dinner were extremely kind and efficient. Everything was brilliant until we were leaving. We paid for our stay after breakfast and then went to drop off the keys after having packed up our bags. The man on reception told my partner we hadn’t paid (when we had) and argued with us. He was incredibly rude and even after checking the system and seeing that we had already paid he refused to apologise. It was such a shame because other than his rudeness the greyhound had been lovely. Unfortunately he has put us off coming back.
Great family room with the twin beds in a small room off the main bedroom. The rooms seemed to be in a converted barn or stables behind the pub. Very different.
This could be lovely- but it isn’t! I think the bulk of the high scoring reviews must be about the pub and not the room. The communal areas to the accommodation are grimy and a bit smelly- as is the room. Not a romantic country room. Feels depresssing. Old mattress. Decor just sadly basic. Carpets revolting. Functional at best. Sorry
The breakfast was lovely and the service good, I found the lunch on the Saturday to be nice but expensive. My only complaint about the room was we had several large arachnids (big hairy spiders) in the room and I found that very off putting. It's the time of year for them I suppose.
Just a stop over really. Bedroom and bathroom very clean but communal areas needing a lick of paint. Few cobwebs around the place and looks like some deeper cleaning required. That said the important bed and bathroom were spot on and a fabulous breakfast.
