location is great!

restaurant is terrible. overpriced and food is poor- no choice of salads, the risotto was the worst I have ever seen. No toothbrush in the room.

Earlier this month my wife and I stayed at the Queen Victoria Hotel and on every level the hotel could not be bettered. We received a warm welcome, upgraded to a beautiful bedroom (with an enormously stylish bathroom) with a balcony overlooking Table Mountain. Every service offered was superb and all members of staff were most helpful. We met the General Manager whom we felt set an excellent standard of care and interest in guests. It was a special pleasure staying there and we would highly recommend this delightful hotel and its position so close to the V&A Waterfront. In many ways it is a hidden gem with superb amenities (including a small pool set in a private garden). Highest praise.

Nothing comes to mind

The location is great, we had a very spacious room with a balcony looking over to Table Mountain. The staff are all amazing, they balance professionalism with a friendly manner. We have been staying here for many years and it is always our first choice in Cape Town.

The room which face the main road can be a little noisy at certain times of the day.

The staff was so friendly and helpful.

We hadden dit hotel gekozen omdat we dichtbij V&A waterfront wilden verblijven. Dat was het. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen.

Het hotel is gelegen op een plein waar talloze hotels naast elkaar liggen. Veilig omdat afgesloten maar ongezellig en druk en lawaaierig. De hotelkamer was groot maar sfeerloos en het bed sliep vreselijk. Onze verwachtingen waren totaal anders. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Great hotel with lovely views. Fantastic location and really friendly staff. Highly recommend. There is a lovely spa and great restaurant and bar. The hotel is well located, just opposed the Waterfront.

Great location and fantastic from of house staff. Very comfortable feeling.

Towels smelled of mist and housekeeping failed to keep bathroom amenities topped up. Cleaning of the room could be better.
