The White Horse Inn

This us a lovely place to stay in the middle of the countryside. Our room was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. This really is a lovely place just to stop and watch the world go by. We had a very enjoyable evening meal in the pub and a lovely breakfast too.

Great pub, nicely decorated and the menu looked lovely, though we didn’t eat there. Friendly, polite and helpful staff.

Breakfast not starting until 8.30 am on Sunday. As we had to leave at that time, we didn’t have time for it. No offer of a reduction to my bill, though we did have coffee while waited to pay the accommodation charge. Bedroom was quite warm and in the middle of July, a thinner duvet would be preferable.

Friendly manager and staff. Lovely old building. Well cooked pub classics. Large carpark.

WiFi signal was poor

This inn is in a picturesque hamlet, in the Vale of the White Horse, just to the north of the Uffington White Horse.

Please be aware that the bathroom is upstairs from the bedroom. So one has to have normal healthy fitness to cope.
