Beautiful old inn, lots of character. Located in a quiet village, ideal for walks to the Uffington White Horse on the hill. Food was sublime, amazing steak, great breakfasts , eggs Benedict perfectly cooked. Staff were very friendly. Easy parking. Crisp clean cotton bedding and comfortable bed.

The room was in need of a sprucing up, carpet looked shabby (Particularly on the stairs , I had a two level accommodation). The settee had stains on it. There were also a lot of cobwebs around the door curtain and the veluxes and between the settee and stair banister
