Reflection on the Sea

Nice and open, enough space for our little family and grandparents to comfortably stay all together

The living area was extremely bright as it only had very sheer curtains on the floor to ceiling windows. The sun came it very very early and made the living area and main bedroom very hot and uncomfortable. The bedding was also very basic and not properly set up so we were constantly having to readjust the bedding through out our stay.

Location- proximity to the beach, shops and cafes. The majority of the staff were friendly and and wanting to ensure my experience was positive.

I stayed at Reflections in 2024 and was satisfied. Given the price of this apartment without any cleaning or linen renewal, I am disappointed with my stay. Apartment allocated was next to the pool, no privacy and had to close blinds to achieve any privacy and reduce constant noise from the pool. This reduces seaside view amenity considerably. 3 families extremely loud at 7am one morning and another evening loud partying until 9pm. I was offered to move after 3 nights when another apartment became available but moving a whole family at that point was impracticable. High chair did not arrive although confirmed it was booked, no knowledge of that and then a 3 delay in receiving the chair. Workman in front of my balcony one morning without notice. Pans unsuitable for use. Kitchen tap was broken I asked for maintenance to attend and they never came. There was mould on the ceiling and one of the external chairs. Curtain partly derailed. Impossible to control light infiltration. I was unwell and expected to be able to rest. That was not my experience.

Cost compared to some

Amazing view of the sea and brilliant location - short walk to the shops, restaurants, and beach across the road. The unit was a lovely layout and nicely appointed with bedrooms and ensuits either side of the main living area with amazing sea views.

It was a beautiful unit but there were a couple of small things that needed attention which you would expect from any place that was getting a bit older - ie electric socket in the second bathroom.
