Inefficient reservation process from resort. Day before my checkin they marked my credit card as invalid.And then I was sent an email through booking.com post 2pm to make fifty percent advance payment the same day or they will release my booking. There were no phone calls or alerts, just a random mail sent through booking.com. Fortunately, I saw the email and contacted the property for more details, not sure what was their plan if I was busy at work and didn’t manage to check my personal emails well past 6 pm. I haven’t encountered such inefficient reservation process anywhere else. Also, don’t understand the logic behind marking a customer’s credit card as invalid because of the property’s inability to perform offline cc swipes, and I used the same credit card to make rest 50% payment at the resort.
