Hotel Rusall

Fantastisch uitzicht. Zeer netjes en schoon. Goede service.

We have visited Hotel Rusall 3 or 4 times in the past 9 years, normally for 2nights but this time stayed for a week. The children are now teenagers and we worried they would be bored but there is plenty to do in the area (boat hire, kayaking, e-MTB) and the pool and tennis court in the hotel itself. We did go into como one evening, “Rapido” boat departs from tremezzo 25 in walk from hotel and the taxi back is 100euro. This is not a modern hotel, it is a delightful, traditional family run hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The lunch and dinner are home cooked and really nice. Finally there is the view from the lake facing balconies and the garden. Read a book, drink coffee and drink in the view every time you look up.

We stayed here for two nights during july -19. The hotel is run by two older couples that seems to own the area around the hotels. The pro's: Great food with big portions Amazing view over lake como (probably one of the best due to the height) Solid breakfast Nice pool overlooking the lake Spaceous garage for parking your car away from the sun/heat Their pasta with mushrooms is incredible, be sure to try it Con's: Hotel is far away (without car) from anything but farmland, and the road leading up to the hotel is very slim and steep. There is no bar-service by the pool so you need to go up to the main building and try finding someone from the staff It takes a while to get to any of the towns where you would find restaurants, shops etc. Final verdict: The view alone makes this hotel worth the visit. In this price-range you get what you would expect and will most likely be happy you went here for a day or two.

Gå en tur ud i haven og nyd den glansbillede agtige view ud over Comosøen. Nyd maden i restauranten sammen med de lokale der kommer og spiser der, fordi pastaen lige er det har det ekstra. Værterne som nusser omkring dig og er søde og venlige. Ganske enkelt 5 stjerner super sted som vi helt sikkert kommer og besøger en anden gang

We walked here from our hotel in Cadenabbia, make no mistake, its some walk, up hill for 45 minutes, if you're not able bodied and reasonably fit, this is not a walk for you....but , once you get ip there the view over Lake Como is absolutely amazing. We had drinks in the garden overlooking the lake after we hadbeen told about this hotel by Enrico from Bar Victoria, it was certainly worth the effort. We only stoped for dinks but were made to feel welcome. There were a lot of people there who had driven up the hill not only for the view but the good food too...certainly worth a re visit.
