MAZI Design Hotel by Kalima

During the first three days of a seven day booking in this hotel I stayed in four separate rooms! The air conditioning in the first and second rooms were both not working. The third room was not the same standard as the room I had paid for so they moved me to a fourth room. It became obvious that there was little or no maintenance carried out on the air conditioning units in this hotel.

Lovely humble hotel! Service: Hotel staff are beyond lovely. Very selfless, always smiling and very friendly! Location: A short walk from the OTOP Markets (very popular markets in Patong), and is very close to the Malin Plaza! We found ourselves going to the Malin Plaza almost every nights - its a very lovely and well sized market! Also walking distance to Patong Beach, Bangla Road, and Jungceylon Mall! Location was 10/10 and there were always tuktuks outside the hotel making it easy to find transport for the day. Also a 7/11 and very cheap massage parlour (they had orange uniforms) less than 50 metres away. Room: Rooms were cosy and had AIR CONDITIONING in every room which I am beyond grateful for! There is also a safe provided, as well as a fridge and TV. The hotel pool was lovely, and the happy hour was amazing! Honestly the whole hotel - is amazing! I definitely recommend this place to anyone! I would 10/10 stay here again! Hotel restaurant: Definitely recommend purchasing breakfast with the rooms! I didn't but once I found out about how good it was, I went every morning for the rest of my stay! Lovely buffet, quick service, great options, VERY CHEAP, and the whole vibe of the hotel was lovely. If you didn't purchase breakfast like I did, its available for purchase on the day you choose to go.

Was promised to provide late check out at 2pm. But forced to exit at 1pm. Which disrupted our plan. Gave us a room facing the street. How to enjoy the balcony or view? View sucks if facing street, dusty and noisy. Swimming pool and breakfast is nice. No rental of motor available which kinda inconvenience as the place is bit far. Bout 10-15 walks from Bangla street.

Great hotel at a price we loved!!! Close walking distance to the action of Patong but far enoigh away not to be bothered by it. Stayed 5 nights, wish we could have stayed longer.

Stayed at Mazi for one night only. Check in was easy with a nice warm welcome. Lovely staff. Nice spacious clean room. Big shower. Beautiful pool. 20 mins walk to Patong Beach. Marlin market across the road. Shops along the road with many eating places also. Overall lovely experience for one night

The stay was great, hotel lobby Was very helpful and free upgrade to a bigger room for me, but I’m still thinking if I book the normal room how smal can that be ? The air con was very noisy at night but don’t know what happen. Other then that everything will fine

If you want a better hotel, you are going to have to go 5 star.

We had a nice room on the 7th floor. A nice cool Oasis from the heat in Phuket. The staff were really great, friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. Our room was clean and tidy, could not ask for more. We thought the Hotel offered great value for money. We would stay there again anytime

The aircon was not cold as in you will feel warm at night . The hotel is not in a strategic location
