Charming hotel, wonderful service, gorgeous views from bedroom and breakfast patio - can’t say enough good things about this hotel!

We recently stayed in the rooms that are listed as “Family Room, Kitchen, Annex Building“ and loved it! I will get my only negative comment out of the way first: there was a distinct odor something like bug spray in the annex building. It persisted throughout our stay. I don’t know if it was actually bug spray, but smelled like it. Even with that, though, my family and I agree that we would be happy to stay here again in the future. We had an entire apartment to ourselves. It would be the perfect place for a larger family to stay for an extended visit. It was clean, comfortable, located within the city wall, and the staff is extremely friendly. The gentleman who helped us with our very late checked in was so kind and gave us an excellent dinner recommendation. The gentleman who was on duty at the desk for the rest of our stay was so sweet, too. The breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced, and the view from the breakfast room was amazing. Everything we wanted to see and do in Rothenburg was within easy walking distance.

The most incredible views of this amazing town. This hotel was picture perfect. The staff was lovely. The owners and staff have lived in this old town since the 1200s. Wonderful experience.

Everything was great except the luck of elevator and is not described that the cheaper rooms are at 3rd and 4th floors.

Wonderful romantic hotel on top of old city wall, short walking distance to city center, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast in a room with sweeping views. Could not have been better.

Wonderful place in a marvelous town. Wunderbar!! Nreakfast on veranda part of walled city. Gracioushost helpful staff. We liked it so mucj we stayed another day. Highly recommend it.

The Burg Hotel was a perfect stay, our best stay in all of Germany. Loved the location, the large room, breakfast with amazing views, the staff and the tea in our room with a couch to relax. Lots of windows for great ventilation too. Ok, I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Stay here!
