Burg-Hotel Relais du Silence

Charming spot. Unexpectedly large chalet. Close walk to center of old town.

This is a beautiful property. Room was nice. Breakfast was excellent-5 star. Parking is a problem. The night desk man is imperious. He was a bit "gritchy" and behaved as if the guests were annoying him by coming to his beautiful but touristy corner of the world.

Our room was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was excellent. Our host was extraordinary - helpful, knowledgeable, kind and willing to share his family’s amazing history. We would be thrilled to stay here again.

Firstly, I felt Burg-Hotel is far from the station. However finally I found that it is close to the old city and was very convenient.

Beautiful views of the countryside from the breakfast area. Generous buffet breakfast including warm items on request. Spacious room with comfortable bed and temperature control. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The apartment can sleep 6 which is very spacious for our family of 4. We are very happy with the modern apartment. One little area to mention is the squeakly flooring which is understandable as it is of wooden structure. But besides that, shower toilet is huge with heated floor and a another WC with sink. The view outside the window is fantastic! I'm the morning we waked up to see slight snow on the roofs of surrounding buildings, cars, etc. Staff are really friendly and the lunch and dinner tasted great!

The Burg Hotel is a wonderful building with beautiful art on the walls, our room was spacious, gorgeous and very clean. Breakfast was phenomenal. Staff was very helpful and friendly, and the location was perfect: right in the middle of the historic town centre. For people who need it: there is no elevator in the building.

The town is right out of a fairy tale story book, but I would come all the way bk to Germsny just to stay at this wonderful property. Between the beautiful historic property built right into the medieval wall that encircles the city, the great amenities and superb service by all, this was by far our most favorite stay while traveling in Germany. It was “an experience”.

Love it. Beautiful boutique hotel. Cosy quiet corner, but also close to main streets. Stunning view from breakfast room. Highly recommend. Only minus thing is coffee not hot enough.

Very charming hotel, great location, spectacular view, super accommodating staff. No elevator so hauling luggage to the third floor can be tough, but worth it
