If you are looking for that old town hotel to match the old town surroundings, i highly recommend this one. We were greeted by the owner who is a wonderful host. By the time the day was out we had had several conversations with him and he was full of local knowledge, tips and recommendations. This is a beautiful old hotel some of the furnishings are amazing. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so if your on a higher floor its a bit of a climb each time but because the hotel is situated on the city wall if your room is on the wall side you are rewarded on the higher rooms with a amazing view which is well worth the climb. There is plenty of parking available and the location is well within walking distance of anything in the old town. The wifi was strong and reliable. We loved our stay here and wouldn't stay anywhere else when we are in town.

Wonderful place to stay to experience Rothenburg! Great rooms, ours was larger than usual and well equipped. Great breakfast, enough parking and an excellent attached restaurant. Very attentive and friendly service, we felt so at home. Highly recommend!
