Himawari Hotel Apartments

The hotel swimming pool was great. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were big. Good tv channels with decent reception which most hotels don't have in Cambodia. The staff were friendly enough.

If you are looking for a proper 5 star hotel then this hotel is not it especially if you are looking for something spotless. The room itself was ok with comfy bed, spacious area, small kitchen with fridge and a few utensils. However, the bath drained very slowly after a shower. The tiles in the bathroom were poorly done giving it a poor finish that you would see in many cheaper hotels and guesthouses, I would expect a proper finish when paying that type of room price in Cambodia. The buffet breakfast was ok but I thought it was poor compared to many hotels in a lower price range. Also, there was no drink pool service, the pool bar was closed but no staff around the pool to take drink orders which is strange for the standard of the hotel especially in high season.

The size of the apartment hotel was larger than expected, room service delivered some of the best room service food I have ever had and the gym was excellent.

I always enjoy staying at this hotel it is my second time this year. I recommend it to anyone traveling to Phnom Penh.

The location was great, the apartment had everything we needed and the staff were very friendly. Also loved that we could take a walk along the pier as it was right outside the property. Breakfast also had different options for different palates

A smart tv would have been nice but it was not a train smash

Another fabulous stay at the Himawari, my favorite hotel when I travel. Large rooms, nice location, good pool, and excellent staff. A special thanks to all the staff and especially the front office team and Ms Sin Sothea for making the stay so easy and enjoyable.

This is a fantastic hotel in Phnom Penh! The rooms are great size with traditional furnishings giving it character and charm! It has a great gym, sauna and steam room free for guests use. The pool is a good size and gets sun all day long (unusual for many of the rooftop hotels in the city! The location is perfect right on the river and next to walking street and the fabulous Saturday night market. What makes this hotel extra special though is the staff. They are so warm always smiling and can’t do enough for you. Lastly can’t forget the unique micro brewery on site which offers a great selection of brewed beers. If you are looking for a lovely traditional hotel with friendly service this is the place for you! We will definitely return!
