Colours Oasis Resort ADULT ONLY

I reserved this place last minute as I was only staying in San Juan for a night. However, I’ve fallen in love with this place. The bar tenders and wait staff made this gringo feel so welcomed and part of the little community they’ve created here. I arrived at midnight and talked to the bartenders and then naturally with the other guests. The breakfast is first rate. The pool is lovely with sunny and shaded parts as the day goes by. The room I stayed in was clean, minimal with little natural light but it did the job. Especially considering I was so happy to be by the bar and the pool.

Shout out to all the staff for their excellent service. If you want a quiet place to stay, Colours is not it. Lively atmosphere with music playing into the night. If you want a fun place to stay, come to Colours!

The hotel is fine. A bit loud during the day but confortable. Jeffry the bartender was so polite and kind. We had a good time there.

Great place for young people who want to party. The rooms are close to the bar and you can hear the music and talking from the rooms. Luckily due to the curfew it only went on till 10pm. It's dated and not worth the full price it was advertised at, the electrics and shower and toilets need upgrading. We could also hear everything happening in the room next door. Luckily we were only staying one night. It was very clean though and staff were very helpful and friendly.

At first the room offered had not a clean toilet, the shower curtain had some moldew and the bathroom was really small. When brought up the issue to the guy from reception he was responsive enough to relocate us to a very nice room with ample space. The pool area and restaurant was perfect to socialize. Very friend staff. Overall a very good experience.

This place is quaint and quiet with nearby access to many interesting places - within walking distance. The location of the Oasis is safe and quiet. The layout of the the resort is well thought out and the staff is very cordial. Would definitely stay there again.

This tiny slice of paradise is just a short Uber ride (15mins) from the airport. As we checked in we were buzzed in at the front door, greet security. I always felt safe and relaxed here during my stay. The wonderful Liz and Omar helped us check in and helped us to our room with our bags. We settled into our room with a king size firm bed with a flat screen tv and large walk in shower. No a/c but with the amazing weather who needs a/c? During our stay we got to met the incredible staff who went above and beyond. In all my travels I’ve never met such incredible hosts. The owner should be very proud of the amazing team that works here. I’m kinda jealous, i wanna work here. Hugo and Renato are two of the most hospitable and caring men in this industry. Our talented Nestor who will whip up any drink was great. Yorling’s cooking was dynamite. She prepared us some authentic local foods. Thank you also to Anthony and Andrea. They have coffee everyday from 6:30 am to 10:30 am but if you are like me, i drink it all day. Usually there’s always coffee. The place is clean, comfortable and just a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a grocery store, liquor store and small convince store all within just a moments walk. The pool was refreshing and clean, never saw any mold. Our towels were the typical hotel towels. The room and furniture in our room were not stained and it was cleaned everyday. Is this a 5 star resort, NO, but is it a resort that is clean, comfortable, affordable and have some of the best staff around YES!!!!!!

I’ve stayed here several times over the last 15+ years, and hope to return yet again. It’s comfortable there—and relaxing The beds, I’d have to describe as “durable”. Possibly the same mattresses I experienced on the first visit Not worn out—just not what we’re more typically accustomed to domestically

If if were because of the staff I would have given a high review but the rooms and pool left no good impression. For a place that claims having won a 2018 award it was very disappointing. Our room had a little patio with some furniture, the pillows over the chairs were nasty, stained and dirty. We also got some rugged towels left in the room. The pool had some mold all over, like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. Based on the price, would not recommend this place at all.
