Captain's Quarters Inn

Have stayed here numerous times. Just returned from a 60 hour fishing trip and didn’t feel like making the 8 hour drive home, so I went to Captains Quarters. The rooms are always clean. The front desk staff are very nice and quick with checking you in. Will definitely recommend Captains Quarters as a great place to stay. And will stay here again when I am on the Island.

Enjoy the stay as well as how quiet it was

Everything good except small cockroaches . If there r kids on the room above forget about ur sleep

This place was convenient to the places we were visiting

Floors sticky/dirty; bathroom receptable didn't work; shower drained onto bathroom floor-dangerous for handicapped.

The lady working the office, was just so nice and accommodating.

Friendly staff, clean room, pool is not heated, but would be nice on a hot summer day.

Conveniencet

I had a bad experience at check in this would’ve been my second time staying here at this hotel so at check in i give them my name to check in basic hotel protocol the receptionist then proceeds to ask how many people are under the age of 21 which I was and one other person was but then there was an additional person that was over the age the receptionist then proceeded to tell me that there was a deposit which again I travelled before so it was not a big deal then she proceeded to tell me that it was a $250 deposit which is completely absurd I’ve stayed at hotels that would be classified as 4-5 star hotels and they have never charged me that much the deposit was more than what i would have spent on the room so I said okay yeah i’ll have to pass she then referred me to another hotel down the street which i had no problem with due to what i spent on the room at the other hotel was way cheaper than the deposit at captains again the hotel is very hospitable but i wish the $250 deposit was known before I drove to Port Aransas and I could’ve researched and exercised all options.
