Lovely apartment and excellent communication with host

Great stay, property lovely, location perfect

Billy did everything possible to make our stay a pleasure. He greeted us on arrival and leant us small things we needed for our comfort. The kitchenette was fairly well stocked; I was particularly impressed that there was a coffee press to make proper coffee, as well as selection of teas, biscuits, and instant sachets. He even dropped off a few 'wee drams' and some Iron Bru for our room when we mentioned we were going to have a quiet night in for New Year's Eve. It is close to a bus station and would be an easy walk for a younger couple, however it is a bit inconvenient for a senior. No lifts, which is typical for the UK, but again that would make this place inaccessible or less comfortable for seniors or someone with a disability. As far as I could tell, there weren't any ground-floor rooms. We would definitely stay here again but just be aware that it is better suited to people who are in good walking shape (it's about a 20 mins walk from high street) and/or are younger. It was an and is an exceptional place.

Really easy and fast check in, we stayed in the Oxford suite the property was clean and comfortable, we also enjoyed the little touches of leaving some milk and coffee on arrival

The apartments are lovely and spacious, great location, in walking distance of all major attractions. Just a few little niggles, The bed is rock solid and the pillows were awful, so sleeping was difficult, cleanliness was not of a high standard in the bathroom. And it was quite dusty everywhere else, no microwave or tea towels. The owners were lovely and easy to contact when needed.

This apartment is ideally situated with plenty of buses to Edinburgh City Centre. Grocers and restaurants within a 20 minute walk. Very good facilities in the apartment, all to a very high standard. Thoroughly recommend!
