Richard and his wife Judy were exceptional hosts- nothing was too much trouble for them and I was greeted by such a warm welcome it felt like a real home from home.

Everything was of an exceptionally high standard. From arrival to departure we received such great care and attention and we felt most welcome at the Welford. The tea and toast on arrival after a very early morning flight was so kind and much appreciated! Judy and Richard are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Great local info and tips for visiting the area and great craic! Breakfast was delicious and we will definitely be back!!

Lovely choice of cereals, granola, fresh fruit and yogurt. Good choice of cooked breakfast, using fresh quality products and cooked beautifully. Accommodation spotless and comfy.Location perfect for walking around Harrogate and to train and bus station.. Plenty to do in area and hosts very helpful, warm and welcoming.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

The Welford was comfortable and Judy was very welcoming. Room was lovely and comfortable. Facilities were great, everything we needed. Richard was very friendly and informative about the area and served a lovely extensive breakfast cooked beautifully by Judy.

There was nothing to dislike.
