Villa Lapas Jungle Village

Fabulous place. Very clean. Staff very courteous and helpful. Only drawback open air dining, while beautiful and clean draws lots of flies and other insects. Fans turned on would have helped. Butterflies and poison dart frogs, iguanas and pretty birds. Loved it. Very worth the price.

Clean basic room. Grounds were beautiful.

Nice property.just don’t expect many meal/booze choices.ifyou want something different than fancy resorts.check them out.rent a car,lots to do in close proximity..

Hot water for shower not working at first; then when fixed, ran hot-cold-hot, minor inconvenience Room had no place to set luggage

Unbelievable amounts of wildlife in the daytime around the hotel. Trails to walk on throughout the day and night and a great river to walk along. Nice pools, many of them. Breakfast was really good.

Dinner could have been better on site.

This place is more like a resort the grounds are beautiful, room was great. Breakfast was excellent. Will stay again.

Nice location near Carara National Park

Only one plug to charge up our phones and cameras and extra batteries. It was a long walk from the lobby to our rooms

Picturesque lodgings surrounded by the rainforest. Wildlife roaming the property. Friendly staff. Excellent rooms. Small swimming pools but very clean. As in the rest of Costa Rica it is difficult to obtain transportation to nearby places on your own if you are not on a tour. Overall we had a wonderful stay

The location was good as I’m a birdwatcher. The trail network was also very good.

The allocated room was very dated, with the shower especially being past its sell-by date and not to modern standards or expectations.
