The grounds are gorgeous. It feels like you are in the middle of the forest

Beautiful grounds and loaded with wild life.

They are hard at work renovating and repairing, so you might encounter a glitch here or there.

The location is gorgeous.

In the older rooms the beds are so hard, it's like sleeping on a block of wood The shower has two options-scalding burn or freezing cold. Its nearly impossible to get it to a comfortable temperature, having to waste a lot of water while waiting. Food was mediocre. Ketchup was expired, over a 30min wait for french fries.

This hotel is such a gem! Great value for the price. We stayed with our two young children (6 and 8 years old). It is conveniently located with plenty of parking. Absolutely loved the grounds and walking to breakfast each morning and taking a dip in the pool every afternoon. Would love to stay here again.

The naturalist, Edgar, who guided us on a hike through the hotel's property was FABULOUS!--enthusiastic, well-informed, helpful. Front desk staff-terrrific. Dining staff no so.

The food at the on-site restaurant is horrible. Even a simple breakfast lacked flavor. The dinner was worse.

We paid for all inclusive and the drinks and food was very limited and not good. Water bottles for our room are not included i asked the bar if i could get some he said no i could drink the water from the sink in our restroom or i can purchase some from the bar, our shower water was cold even after i mentioned it to the front desk several times, the bar is only open from 10am to 10pm, no room service, no snacks, dinner ends at 9pm and there is no food available after that, they did offer a continent breakfast the first morning of our stay when i asked why they didnt have one they told me because the didnt book many of their rooms so there werent a lot of people there. Worst hotel experience we've had.

We paid a premium for the treehouse room. Looks great from the outside and it is a huge empty room, with a really comfy high bed which was great but the standard size air con unit couldn’t deal with the size of the room and it remained stuffy and hot inside. This in mind, a fridge would also have been great to keep food and drink fresh. With the size of the room it would have been great to have some shelves or ledges to put luggage on rather than stoop down to the floor to access your bag - obviously this is only if you do not want to unpack everything as their was a drawer. The treehouse was also at the far end of the complex, so far from reception, restaurant and pool it required a drive - which is fine, but there was very little parking spaces available. One could always walk as it is not that far but you would get eaten alive by the mozzies on the way there and back. For the price, you would expect a full compliment of toiletries rather than just a single 2in1shower gel and a small soap packet. The towels were changed every day which will have to mark down the eco friendliness too. We stayed three nights and the promised breakfast buffet was only available on the last day - I guess because there was a coach party arrive and the other days there was not enough guests to warrant the buffet. The provided portions on the non buffet days were slightly inadequate. Other than that, it is a beautiful, tucked away, quiet little complex.
