Exceptional staff, a fantastic location, and an outstanding chef made my stay truly memorable. I spent two days here with my wife and parents, booking two river-facing rooms that offered breathtaking views. The accommodations were modern and equipped with all essential amenities. The staff’s hospitality was remarkable—courteous and attentive throughout. The manager, Mr. Anup (forgive me if I misremember the name), shared invaluable insights into the significance of visiting Kashi. Mr. Husain was incredibly supportive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Brijesh, Krishna, and Kuldeep provided prompt and warm service, making the experience even more special. A huge appreciation to Chef Sachin, whose culinary skills delighted us all—even earning my mother’s praise! This place perfectly captures the essence of Kashi, making it the ideal retreat for anyone looking to immerse themselves in its charm. I will definitely return with my family!

Its location

Very inconvenient to go to the property. No signage on road. Not worth the money. Staff was quite good though.

Located by the Ganges on the Ghat as described and best accessed by boat. The ghats are unkempt and water/ air was more polluted than we expected. The hotel is small with roughly 15 rooms, restaurant on site has good vegetarian food. They have evening tea and free evening boat ride to the Aarti. They also have classical music performers every evening. The staff is plentiful and mostly courteous.

Access to the hotel can be very problematic for elderly guests.

A small hotel with an excellent location & wonderful staff. Located right on Shivala ghat with direct access to the ganges. The highlight is the boat trip to check one in and the complimentary boat trip for the evening rituals at a nearby ghat

Location was fabulous. On the ghat with a private entrance to the ghat steps . Walking distance from Assi Ghat , Sankat Mochan temple . We even walked along the ghats to Kashivishwanath temple and Manikarnika Ghat . Staff was extremely polite and well behaved. Property was kept meticulously clean

No balconies to the rooms . Ganga facing rooms also had a very small window. Pillows in the room were hard and impossibly thick which made sleep uncomfortable.
