Parklane Hotel

We stayed 3 nights at Parklane. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly. The room was a great price and was cleaned every day and received complimentary bottles of water. The internet was fairly fast but flakey in our actual room but was fine if you sat outside on the stairwell. We had no hot water the days we were there which was ok when it was so hot outside and you want to cool down anyway. It's a short walk to pub street and the hotel can organise tuk tuk, car etc if you need.

I really enjoyed my stay, I even extend for 2 additional nights :) Staff offer a very good service and offer some tours to the temples.

Parklane was just what I was looking for. I am a solo traveler on a tight budget but wanted to treat myself one night in Siem Reap. I went for Parklane and was very satisfied. The staff greeted me with a cool glass of orange juice and helped me to my room. The room was small but clean and comfortable - and the bathroom had a western layout (bathtub!) which was a nice treat after several weeks in SE Asia without such a luxury. I only stayed a night but will book again if I return to Siem Reap.

For the price of around 25USD/per night its a great hotel with free oneway pickup from airport, nice helpful staff, great location at the heart of Siem reap walkable distance from Pub street and Night market, Fridge, coffee maker in the room, Lift facility, FREE WIFI from room, Continental breakfast included, lots more. Whatelse you want?! Highly recommended!!!

It was ok, the people were very nice but the rooms were a bit dirty. At the beginning we had a bed with some scary yellow Spots and the towels had also same Spots but they give us an other room.. the new room was not match better. We spend two more days in Siem Raep at the "River Queen Guesthouse" (21-35$/night) and it was one of the best Hotel on our 1 Month Trip.

They are able to join 2 rooms together which is good for a family. The lady boss (a singaporean) is very friendly and told us what medicine to buy when a family member of ours had diarrhea. Not much variety for breakfast. The body massage is good 6 usd per hour.

The hotel has a good location, near to the old market area. The staffs are very friendly and the room is well-maintained. However, there is not much variety for breakfast. Overall, it is a hotel with reasonable rate

Great Location

The staff aim to please at the Parklane. It will be apparent when you step through the door. All the staff will surround with "how can I help" stares in their faces... They are very welcoming. Overall, the hotel is 3 stars. It's an average property with average amenities. Free wifi, free included buffet breakfast and concierge services. 5 floors with an elevator. AC in the pretty well-kept rooms. The service is up to par, but at this price point you must understand there will always be shortfalls. The towels are rough and there is always a faint smell of mold in the bathrooms. The bathrooms are kept clean enough for me though. This is a budget friendly, value hotel. Stay here keeping that in mind and you'll be fine. Free airport tuk tuk!

Having read all the gushing reviews posted about this hotel, I feel the need to redress the balance. It is certainly not terrible and the junior staff were really friendly and helpful. The managers though, took every opportunity to try to sell thoroughly over priced tours and services, including when we arrived tired from the airport late at night! The general state and ambiance of the hotel was not even worthy of the vastly discounted price available through Expedia. There is alot better available in this city at this price.
