For a lodge in an old national park, this was an amazing property with awesome views The staff was friendly, helpful and the food was delicious. So worth the drive.

Friendly staff, lovely breakfast hall gardens and views. The restaurant food was lovely but menu limited. You also had to book the restaurant which we didn’t know about, we had our meal in another dining area (same menu) and could see the empty tables in the restaurant with no one sat at them? Decoration is tired in places hope new owners will rectify this in time.

"Nice hotel shame about the compsct standard rooms."

Request a proper double bed when booking. The standard double is a little small 1.037 mm wide. Fine for one person 2 standard adult humans its a bit of a squeeze.

Very mixed opinions. The location is brilliant with great views and very good walks. The structure of the hotel is a bit dilapidated and could do with some work. During my two night stay, my room was not serviced. However, everything was very clean. Done if the staff were very friendly and efficient - others - not so. The food was very good on the first night (hummus, duck, sticky toffee pudding) but the second night, when there was a wedding, it was very poor (poke bowl, linguini).

We opted for Bay view excutive room, which was excellent and had a sweeping vista of all of Robin hoods bay The breakfasts were the same each day znd the evening meals were average

"Brilliant views"

We had a lovely room with superb view. The only downside was the bathroom, although very clean it was small and had shower over bath, we did request a walk in shower at time of booking, both being in our 70’s not very easy to use Dining facilities were excellent, good choice on menu, food very good and staff very friendly and attentive
