Prime spot in Chiang Mai, every sunday there is a night market. Could get noisy

Very disappointed meal. It seems like they are catering for foreign tourists and not giving a Thai dining experience. Ordered shrimp dish which was very bland and tasteless. I've had better, more tastier elsewhere. It's sad because I've been dining here whenever I visit Chiang Mai. Last visit April 23 and then the meals where delicious.

Very friendly staff who are quite helpful. Stayed four nights and looking forward to returning.

My wife and I traveled on 5/10, during the Chiangmai floods. Thanks to the help of my old hotel, I was able to book a room here, which was almost unaffected by the floods. The location and price are unbeatable, right in the heart of the Sunday Market. I recommend you not to miss the Sunday Night Market because it is a great market selling local Chiangmai products at reasonable prices. The hotel is also equipped with many convenient things such as a washing machine on the 4th floor, a microwave, a TV and a sink in the common area for guests to use. The room is large and comfortable, including a fridge and hairdryer in the room. The only downside is that there is no elevator, but this is common with hotels in this area. The owner is a very kind person, he speaks very good English and helped us a lot. Because my leg was injured, he asked the staff to help me carry all my luggage up to the room. On the day of my return, he helped me book a big car to the airport at a good price, although it was not easy at that time. While sitting in the car to the airport, I still felt lucky to be here when Chiangmai was in trouble. We write this review as a thank you and will definitely choose to stay at Parasol Hotel when coming to Chiangmai. Thank you for helping and treating us so kindly. I highly recommend you to try this hotel, you will feel very worthy and comfortable throughout the journey.

The location was awesome, in the centre of chiang mai. The host was super nice, he helped us a lot and let us leave our luggage in the reception before check in. The room was very clean and quiet. Nice to sleep in and spacious. Everithing was great

It would be nice if the rooms had windows for fresh air.

Great location in the heart of old town, easily walkable in any direction. Staff were great, very friendly and cleaning staff were excellent. The only negative for me was I had a window facing a restaurant that stayed open until 3am, never a lot of people at that time but on a few nights they got pretty loud. I would return again.
