Anglesea Motel and Conference Centre

This is a good location but wouldn’t stay again as there was families living permanently in the other units. They were really noisy. Dropping rubbish in the garden overnight and banging on my door in the middle of the night. I was so scared I was about to call the police. Some of the people in the units were a bit intimidating.

Well presented motel close to the city and across the road from Countdown supermarket. Quiet overnight. Room very clean and nicely presented. Excellent Sky TV and free internet. Excellent price. Will be our "go to" accommodation in future visits to Hamilton. Well exceeded expectations.

Clean well located friendly efficient staff. Amenities in room excellent- well thought out. Will stay here again.

Great location, close to bus stop, supermarket and Seddon park. Great facilities.

Good location close to the cricket grounds and walking distances to town

Room was huge. I've never seen an electrically operated paper towel dispenser in a motel washroom before. Biggest problem was the pool was closed. Another guest said it had been closed for days. No hotel in the world seems to think they owe their customers an update to their online advertising when they close something they've promised. I disagree with that.

Excellent motel that I would highly recommend to others.

Loads of very noisy and undesirable types of "others" hanging around in the surrounding Anglesea rooms. Very young infants running around unsupervised. Early morning (like 3am) goings-on, sustained knocking on doors with shouting and doors banging. Crappy cars coming and going at all times I felt like I was staying at a halfway house or some sort of rehab centre. My female colleagues actually felt totally unsafe, so I had to escort them to and from their rooms. To top it off, my 6ft frame had to try and shower under a fixed 5.5ft shower head. Never again.

Unfortunately upon arrival we observed cleaning staff to be cleaning rooms and throwing linen and towels to be cleaned onto the footpaths and parking lot rather than into washing baskets. This is a slight turn off and I recommend your staff use washing baskets. Unfortunately the toilet paper is of the same quality of that in a public toilet. Whilst the paper towel for hands in the bathroom is innovative with its no touch function, this looses the feel of 4 star accomodation. Air conditioning was great and bed was comfortable. Rooms are of a great size. No PowerPoint in bathroom, only PowerPoint for certain razors. This is odd for 2018/19. Comfortable seating area and good size tv/kitchen area. Few minor changes and this accommodation would live up to its 4 star suggestion. Staff are friendly and extremely approachable.

Spacious family-friendly motel, was full of families and their kids but when night fell, all was quiet. So the rooms were good and the motel did it's job. Clean bed, good showers and nice service.
