Great location, super clean hotel. Well maintained property. Staff was excellent! We'll stay there again!

Loved the place and the vibe. Just watch out for extra fees! The view, place and the retro vibe were amazing. Would definitely come back.

Beyond my expectations, SO clean and loved it. The hotel staff is so friendly and helpful. There's an elevator helped since we were on the 5th floor, we were in rm 510 I had booked an ocean front we had a partial ocean view but it allowed us to enjoy a beautiful sunset from the bayside. We watched surfers from our balcony, the ocean is steps away. Definitely recommend this hotel without hesitation! We will stay here again but I will make sure we get ocean front next time.

The evening front desk staff was inattentive, difficult to understand charges at check-in (could not explain charges well), and did nothing about a request regarding a missing hairdryer for our room. Played on their phone the entire time we saw her. The daytime staff was excellent -kind, attentive and helpful. The wifi in the room was impossible, as well as the cell service. We attempted to project some shows on a rainy day, which proved impossible. Difficult to send and receive messages in the room. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Would like to come back, but the internet / cell service in the room was a real issue, considering we paid for an oceanfront suite.

it was noisy when we first got there the floor we were staying on smelled by the next day it smelled so terrible we finally figure out that it was the garbage by the elevator I did tell the girl at the desk she did take care of it we do not plan on staying there again.

We only stayed for one night, but we enjoyed it. The location was great and the hotel was clean.

Pet friendly and great access to the beach

The staff found our items and made sure they returned them to us. The view was great. The rooms were nice and spacious, clean, and had great toiletries.

The hill from the first floor semi-obstructed the view of the ocean.

The hotel is located directly on the beach ocean front, and mid-town, so obviously that's a plus. We interacted with four front desk staff, two housekeeping staff and two maintenance staff. They were all professional, polite, and helpful. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, and guests have the ability to use Aloft, the bayside sister property across the street amenities (pool table, indoor/outdoor pool, tiki bar). There is a small outdoor pool at Sealoft and the pool area was tidy and clean. We enjoyed the convenience of the retro refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. This is not a luxury or chain hotel, so set your expectations for a pleasant stay. Upon check-in we had some housekeeping issues which were addressed immediately, which we appreciated. Overall the room seemed clean, but there were some areas that had been neglected and I cleaned myself (phone, toilet bowl under rim, the A/C vents). Maybe the rooms will receive a deep-clean during the off season. Areas for improvement: the contemporary shower head is awkward and the handle shoots water out like a kitchen sink sprayer, not all of the elevator room floor indicator lights work, and although it may not seem like a big deal, a lot of guests noticed it and remarked as well; there is only one ice machine for the entire building. The property offers a discount to rent their beach chairs and umbrellas. We were told that because of high wind conditions umbrellas were not able to be rented and the stand was closed. We understood about the umbrellas, but there was absolutely no reason for chairs to be unavailable. This greatly impacted our convenience and comfort on the beach, as we didn't bring our own chairs for the very reason the hotel stated they would be available. For a disabled person, this is a real problem. The property charges $20/day for PARKING. I feel that when you pay to stay at a hotel, parking should be free.

Absolute terrible place to stay. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.
