Hotel on the Promenade

Staff are great , food is very good and rooms very comfortable. Location great easy access to V& A waterfront.

Nothing , but suppose down to supply and demand the price over the last couple of years has increased a lot . Whatever we will carry on using this as our Cape Town stay .

Stayed for just a night in early January. The rooms were very comfy and the food was amazing - especially the steak - but what we loved the most was the interaction between the owners, staff, and regulars. I have never seen such a lovely and happy little ecosystem of people. The owner's young son would come back to the hotel after a walk on the Promenade and run behind the bar to give the waiter a hug. The regulars (who referred to themselves as such) were very welcoming and more than happy to talk about the history of the place and tell stories of all that they'd seen, and when the son would leave the property, a member of staff would run outside to make sure he was ok and bring him back safe and sound. It was a very healthy and happy atmosphere that you don't see enough of these days. Felt like being in a home vs a hotel. I have recommended it to a few people based on this rare experience and they all can't wait to see it for themselves.

Everything, the staff are amazing, we felt like part of their family. Had drinks with them every night, they looked after us perfectly. Bedroom and terrace were perfect, location incredible. But the staff made the stay exceptional, thank you guys

Excellent small hotel with professional, friendly and efficient staff. Super freshly cooked breakfast and dinner (we eat twice during our 4 night stay).

De ligging, vriendelijk personeel, het restaurant en mooie kamer met aparte dressing

Er waren kleine zaken die mankeerden, toiletdeksel los, betalende mini bar werd niet bijgevuld dagelijks met water, lavabo liep bijna niet door en er hing een muffe geur in de kamer.
