"Great place to stay for a relaxing break is picturesque surroundings in Essex."

All round excellent. Service upon arrival was superb. Room was made up with sofa bed made. Dinner was excellent was top service and food. Excellent choice from the menu and good ambience. Perfect location and great value for money.

Cannot fault anything. Location, staff, food service was all of an exceptional level.

The lunch was a bit expensive and we weren’t informed about the door code until just before we checked out.

"Overall we had a pleasant stay and it is very close to local towns and attractions."

The cooked breakfast was very good and the meal we had in the evening was also very enjoyable. All the staff we met were very pleasant.

The bedroom was not as clean as we would have liked and it was looking a little tired. It could do with redecorating.
