Very good

No heating in bathroom We were happy with our stay

Breakfast and evening meal was good, staff very good too.

Lack of atmosphere as thought would be more wedding guests staying (although not a fault of the pub !). Lighting poor in bedroom (very bright in bathroom though :))

The food was amazing, local food.. very happy, bed was soo comfortable .. great WIFI . Good sized room and good shower pressure ..

The location was idyllic. Plenty of room to park a car with a trailer.

The room was roasting hot. The staff member I spoke to about it said he would fix it but he didn't. I had to sleep with the windows in the room and bathroom open and with the door to the room open and with 2 windows in the corridor outside the room open. The radiator itself was so hot it would have burned the hand of anyone touching it for a second. Definitely unsafe for children. The issue seems to have been with the electronic gadget attached to the radiator to regulate the temperature. It had one setting which was "scorching"

The Sunday roast was incredible

The location was very convenient for the wedding we attended. The room was functional but adequate for our needs. Most importantly, it was clean. The staff were friendly and kind and made us some lunch slightly earlier than they normally serve food due to us needing to get ready for the wedding. We also had an enjoyable meal in the restaurant on the first night of our stay.

There was really no wifi to speak of in our ground floor room so no watching videos or browsing internet, our mobiles also didn't work with any reliability. There was no blind at the frosted bathroom window, which meant a lack of privacy as it looked out onto the pub car park and with the light on people would have been able to see in. The room we were in needed a bit of an update, to be honest, but it was sufficient for our needs.
