Rustic accommodations with several nice perks. Comfortable beds, awesome shower, and the most amazing breakfast! The host is quite a character. Overall, a good experience.

The accommodations are rustic, but the location can't be beat.

Location. Bed was comfortable linen was nice and clean.

We stayed three nights and breakfast was exactly the same every day. Carbohydrates only and no protein. The shower was very hard to adjust. It would go from scalding hot to cold. We even burned our hand on the scalding water. The facility was very outdated and lots of peeling wallpaper, especially in the bathroom The dining room was very cluttered and not appealing. The food was good, but the same thing three days in a row was not exactly what we would like. From what we could see of the kitchen it looked very unkept.

Great location and very convenient to the Upper Town and train station.

The facilities are rough, dated and not well maintained. Amenities were like a hostel. Accessing rooms are via a staircase. Receptionist was very quirky. Breakfast was adequate. Overall not worth the price. Consider other options.

A well run old school B&B with a most amazing breakfast and a highly cultured but quirky Quebec guy in charge. Convenient to main train and bus station.

Not a complaint but narrow steep stairs if you are walking impaired. Are you ready for the host? Nothing can prepare you for the host! (not for people who dislike banter and teasing)

L'Intendant is a charming small B&B. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and while the breakfast is the same every day, it is quite enjoyable. The B&B has three levels, but there is no elevator, so be cautious if you have mobility issues.
