Imperial Fireside Inn

Had amazing time for 3 days and experienced some outstanding service. Last minute check in available and the owner are really helpful and they place had a good vibes as well. I would recommend to try this place if you are looking for a place to stay

Overall the motel was excellent. The only issue I found was inconsistent heating due to baseboard heating and my hot water was Luke warm the entire time. I would recommend, but the need to address the hot water. I did complain to management, and they failed to investigate or fix the problem. Their response was to run it until it was hot. After running for 20 mins, and showering for another 20, I can assure you there is a problem. The staff were friendly and the room was updated and very clean.

The best you can get with minimum price.

This is a small family run motel. We were greeted warmly and given a room on the first floor which we appreciated. The rooms are small but newly renovated and very clean. For an overnight stay it was great.

The parking lot was almost full. There was a bunch of guys on the upper veranda. Registration gave me a hard time about needing a drivers licence, but acquiesced when I said it was discriminatatory. They charged me before my stay. I had to ask for an invoice and make sure the guy had only one night. The room was clean and smelled clean. Sheets abit discoloured. We had the kitchette. A good place to stay for a week. The fridge is massive. Good for a family of 4. Bathroom tiny. Hot water ok. Given some reviews, it wasn't bad.

We needed a last minute, budget friendly place that was safe and clean - and this place delivered! Kind staff, nice rooms, and good location when you’re pulling off the highway.

I arrived at 1:30 am July 29th 2021. Was greeted promptly by a friendly owner who made a deal for an efficiency unit which was one of the last non-smoking rooms available. Although the motel is in an older part of the city and looks retro from the outside; the room was surprisingly modern and clean. It had obviously been updated and best of all the kitchen area was well equipped with cutlery, dishes, pots and pans, and dishwashing necessities. This was great for me for breakfast as I was travelling by motorcycle and had travelled several hours to avoid bad weather in the area I was going to camp in. I would highly recommend staying here and would return again another time.

Room was clean and kitchenette well stocked.

I was in town obtaining my Class 1 CDL (Trucker License) and I stayed here at the Fireside for close to a month. Very nice clean rooms, extremely comfortable king-sized bed. Very friendly staff. The owners take great care be picking up litter and maintaining the parking lot/sitting areas. It shows they truly care about their guests and presentation. Covid masks were used and plenty of sand sanitizer was on hand. The only negative thing I have to add is that street construction was taking place so there were some issues with parking and noise, however this was out of the hands of the owners as this was city construction. I had very nice stay. Yes I would recommend this hotel to friends and I would stay here again. Thank you!
