Clean and spacious room, staff were flexible with our late arrival time. Hotel was in a good location that was convenient for us. Chocolates on the bed were a nice touch!

The 10:30am check out time was a bit earlier than we were used to and a £20 charge for an extra hour seemed a little excessive. I would say that 11am is far more usual in the industry - and then late check out would usually be around 1pm rather than 11:30am.

Great location and staff all very friendly and helpful. Decor in the rooms are beautiful. Rooms are spacious and comfortable Outside space relaxing to sit in.

Our room was below ground level.The room was a little dark. More brighter lighting needed especially near mirrors.

It had a grace, charm and warmth. Loved the building and the view of the garden.

The road noise. I live in a quiet road, so I probably notice road noise more. Unfortunately, the room was quite warm even without the heating on so we did have the windows open, I was surprised that the road was still busy even at 2am. With the windows closed we couldn’t hear a thing. It’s a very minor issue but if you’re a light sleeper I would request a bedroom at the back of the property.

Good location, easy walk into town, nice views across to the Abbey.

Having to pay to park onsite, it was clearly stated, but feel it should be included in the price.
